Less than one mile offshore on the oceanside, you will find the Islamorada Sandbar. Join us for a private boat tour on the Sandbar. This underwater Islamorada island is only accessible by boat or float (paddleboards, kayak, etc.).

Depending on whether it’s a weekend or weekday, you can make this experience either an active party day or a peaceful day of relaxation. On weekends throughout the year, you may find up to 300 boaters. On weekends, expect to join the Islamorada Sandbar party with fun music and friendly boaters. Weekdays are quieter than weekends on the Sandbar, and our backcountry mangrove island tours are a nice, quiet alternative when the Sandbar is too busy for your group. The choice is yours.

Our photos depict the varieties of fun for all ages in what is annually voted as the Florida Keys’ “Hottest Spot.” Guests may lounge on the boat or use our variety of floats provided. Or, on the sandbar, you may choose to float or sit on the sandbar – commonly with a cold drink (of your choice) in hand. Adults and children alike may take the paddle boards across the grassy flats, full of sea life, in and around Islamorada’s Sandbar.

An afternoon of relaxation!

The mangrove islands do not offer a beach or sandbar. However, the day is spent using snorkel masks, or paddle boards, listening to music on the boat. It’s a great day with a natural, quiet feeling, making a great location for viewing wildlife, paddling, and photography. Dolphins are commonly seen around the mangrove islands, as an added treat.

Guests may use the bow (front) of any of our boats to lay out and get sun or read a book, or just kick back and relax. Bring your our own lunch and drinks, which will be served onboard any of our private boat charters or on our versatile paddleboards… tough choice!

We pickup at locations VERY near the sandbar and then we enjoy the Keys in any ways that weather and time permits.  We ALWAYS go to the sandbar, it’s nice in almost any weather.  When weather and time permits, we have multiple snorkel locations including a shallow water spot out of the wind for those days when we just can’t get to the reef.  On days with ideal weather conditions we can hit Alligator Lighthouse or any of our local reefs for snorkeling.  After snorkeling during the ride to the sandbar we can hit a few of our local dolphins’ favorite places to hang out, and if we’re lucky play with them in our wake!  We can also make a stop at any of the local taverns for a drink, and cruise 2 of the locations in the Netflix series Bloodline!  Ultimately we will wrap up the day on the world famous Islamorada Sandbar!

Our flag is always flying!

Hi! Yes USCG regulations only allow 6 people per boat anywhere in US waters but we have connections who love to work with us :). We can accommodate large groups of more than six. You can book groups of up to 12 on our website here.

Or you can call us at 305-394-1436 for larger groups. Thanks for the question!

We (10-12)people are coming to the Cheeca Lodge on September 23rd-27th. Is it better to go to the Sandbar on the weekends or it doesn’t matter. Is the price cheaper during the week? Can you give me a price for both.

Hi, we charge the same price for weekends as we do for week days. Weekends are typically busier so if you’re looking for a party definitely pick a weekend date. If you’re looking to relax and unwind the earlier in the week the better. If you click book now and choose a date on the calendar all of our pricing is available here on the website.
