There is no finer snorkeling anywhere in North America than in Islamorada and Key Largo, Florida!  The Upper Florida Keys are unique in that they possess the only living coral reef in the United States. Fortunately, we have two great reefs very near our departure point for our private, all-inclusive Islamorada Snorkel Tour – a part of our Half-Day or Full-Day tour.  Water near the reefs is comfortable and clear most of the year. The reefs consist of hundreds of species of coral and fish. The tourist snorkel sights are terrific, but the local hot spots are even better.

When you book with Island Adventures for an exciting and beautiful snorkeling tour, not only do you get to decide how long you stay at each snorkeling spot but you also get a local Captain as your tour guide who help with fish and coral identification.

Island Adventures custom designs each snorkeling trip based on your desires, whether it’s exploring a certain reef that others don’t normally visit or impressing a loved one or guests with an in-depth tour of the myriad species of sea life and beautiful coral reefs.

Guests are encouraged to be photographed feeding the massive population of reef fish and are likely to see a small shark or two, barracuda, moray eels, turtles, eagle rays and the list goes on and on… Professional snorkeling equipment is provided for up to six guests – for both children and adults during the Islamorada Snorkel Tour. Included are masks, snorkels, and fins. Snorkeling for children and novices is also common at the Islamorada sandbar, where it is very shallow and calm. Although there is no living coral at the sandbar, snorkelers may encounter harmless stingrays, blue crabs, spider crabs, cowfish, shells and hermit crabs – all in the crystal clear and sandy bottom, which makes the sandbar the “Hottest Spot” in the entire Florida Keys.

We hope to see you for an exceptional day during our Islamorada Snorkel Tour.

We pickup at locations VERY near the sandbar and then we enjoy the Keys in any ways that weather and time permits.  We ALWAYS go to the sandbar, it’s nice in almost any weather.  When weather permits, we have multiple snorkel locations including a shallow water spot out of the wind for those days when we just can’t get to the reef.  On days with ideal weather conditions we can hit Alligator Lighthouse or any of our local reefs for snorkeling.  After snorkeling during the ride to the sandbar we can hit a few of our local dolphins’ favorite places to hang out, and if we’re lucky play with them in our wake!  We can also make a stop at any of the local taverns for a drink, and cruise 2 of the locations in the Netflix series Bloodline!  Ultimately we will wrap up the day on the world famous Islamorada Sandbar!

Come enjoy an amazing day on the fabulous waters of the Florida Keys.  Our multi-activity sandbar trips include snorkeling, and site seeing, finishing your day on the world famous Islamorada Sandbar.  At Island Adventures, our job is your vacation!
