Swim with the Fishes
The Florida Keys is home to the only living coral barrier reef in the United States. With its crystal-clear water and thriving underwater world, snorkeling or scuba diving should be at the top of your list. You can dive deep to see the colorful world of corals, explore fascinating shipwrecks, and swim with a variety of marine life, like sharks, turtles, and tropical fish. Book a snorkel tour, or if you’re certified, a dive excursion, and discover the beauty of the underwater world!

Visit the Dry Tortugas National Park
For adventurous vacationers, a day trip to Dry Tortugas National Park is worth it! Located just 70 miles west of Key West, the national park is home to magnificent Fort Jefferson, blue waters, and 7 isolated islands. You can explore the fort, marvel at the lighthouse, island hop, observe the sea turtles, and don’t forget to bring your snorkeling gear! You can either take a ferry from Key West, or if you prefer a more private experience, charter a boat.
