Located on Key Largo, this park offers visitors a chance to explore an underwater paradise with snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and more. You can also take glass-bottom boat tours of the coral reefs and learn about their unique ecosystem. The park also has plenty of land-based activities like camping, hiking, biking, bird watching and wildlife viewing.

Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park
This park is located on Key Largo and it’s home to one of the largest remaining tracts of tropical hardwood hammock forest in South Florida. Visitors can explore nature trails through the hammocks as well as picnic areas and a playground for kids. There’s also a butterfly garden where you can get up close with some of Florida’s beautiful native butterflies.

Lignumvitae Key Botanical State Park
Located just off Islamorada in Plantation Key, this park is home to one of the few remaining virgin tropical hardwood hammocks in North America. Visitors can explore nature trails through the hammock forest as well as visit a historic lighthouse from 1825 on Windley Key Island.
