Visitors can explore nature trails through the hammock forest as well as visit a historic lighthouse from 1825 on Windley Key Island. The park also offers bird watching opportunities and guided tours by boat or kayak throughout the mangrove islands nearby.

When appropriate, refunds may be given when the customer notifies Island Adventures at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled charter date/time. An 8% cancellation fee will be charged in most cases. Full refunds will be issued when performance of services is made unavailable directly by the fault of Island Adventures. Weather is not a cause for full refund. Weather cancellations will include the 8% cancellation fee. Any reason offered by the customer other than something related to non-performance of Island Adventures will also include the 8% cancellation fee. Cancellation requests must be sent BOTH in writing (email to jim@goislandadventures.com.com) AND by phone (305-394-1436) to ensure you get a timely confirmation of the cancellation from Island Adventures. Adequate reason for cancelling is required, and proof of reason for cancellation may be requested. Weather-related issues are tracked and evaluated by Island Adventures and may result in last minute cancellation of the charter OR result in changes in activities provided during the tour. Some activities (i.e. fishing, snorkeling, sandbar, etc) which are a typical part of our charter are dependent on the weather and other factors and are not guaranteed for each charter. When dangerous weather completely cancels the tour, a credit may be offered toward a future date or a full or partial refund may be provided with 30 days of the cancellation, at the discretion of Island Adventures. NOTE: If a “last minute” reservation is made (within 48 hours of the scheduled excursion) and then cancelled, a refund may not be considered. “No shows” or late requests for cancellation may also result in denial of a full refund. If the guests do not arrive at the dock or are more than one hour late without contacting Island Adventures, Island Adventures will consider the guests to be a “No show,” cancelling their tour without refund.
